Hello, Mr. Bray. I teach academically gifted kids in Louisiana. We are studying Poe and I found your site quite by accident this morning as I was preparing to teach "Cask of Amontillado." My kids are quite jaded and hard to please when it comes to reading along with an audio version of the literature we cover. I decided to have them do it with this story anyway (although I did not preview the audio version b/c I was out of time) , but anticipated their typical remarks at its conclusion. To my great surprise and pleasure, they (and I) LOVED your presentation. They said it really helped them understand and enjoy the story. We will definitely be using your podcasts again. Thank you for a job extraordinarily well done.

You recording of the "Cask Of Amontillado" is so cool. It gives the feeling that you are actually experiencing it. And the voices are just perfect for hte characters.

Hello! Found your site google searching for the Edgar Allan Poe story you have on this site.

I run a similiar site at http://www.listentoyourfriends.com which you might enjoy. Its main drive is not necessarily showcasing the "best of the best" readers, but to get typically uninvolved people into performing and reading literature aloud. As such, it's more like an "amateur's" theatre.

Check it out!

Do you mind if I add a link to this blog on my site?

Hello,

I have been looking for audio theatre for my child for some time. I applaud your work as it captures and retains interest as well as support listening skills, imagination, creativity, etc.

I would love to see you branch out and apply your talents to attract a younger audience. It would be rather interesting to hear what your cast can do with classic children stories and bible stories such as Cinderella, Jonah and the Whale, David and Goliath, ect.

You should consider offering these mp3 files for a small donation. I believe that your work is very good and has a lot of potential. As your collection of works grow, I don't think it would be in your best interest to offer these files for free. Perhaps you can work out something with Amazaon.

Please keep me informed of new works from your troop. I look forward to hearing more of this auditory art.

Thank you,

Latrice Brown
